Waterloo Methodist Church

Waterloo Methodist Church Vale Street, Waterloo, Ashton-under-Lyne was opened in December 1968 and replaced an older chapel building that was on Oldham Road, Waterloo. Its awkward, but provincially funky, form sets monopitch against monopitch and cranked beams protrude as blunted buttresses, creating a porch. The interior is plainly finished in timber and brick.
